Vision

Two hundred years ago, New England was the center of biblical learning and spiritual revival in America. Today, the cities and towns of New England rank among the lowest in the nation in church attendance and profession of faith in God. More and more, this corner of the country is regarded by some as an “unreached people group” when it comes to the preaching and hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Harvest Bible Church seeks to magnify the glory of God and impact the local culture through the establishing of a dynamic gospel witness. Our desire is to be a God-loving, Bible-teaching, disciple-making fellowship who will radiate the light and love of Jesus Christ throughout the Gilmanton-area community (Matt 22:37-40; 28:19-20). We believe the core of Christianity is laid out in the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.

Our desire is to be “the Antioch of New England”—a mature church who trains up men and women to do the work of ministry (Eph. 4:12-13). Our goal is to reach the unbelieving with a saving gospel, restore and strengthen the backslidden and disenfranchised, and equip and encourage the mature saints unto godliness. From within a healthy body of believers, we seek to send out missionaries, evangelists, pastors, teachers and church-planters to further the kingdom of God throughout New England and the world.
